Managing Director and CEO
Richard has over 20 years of Senior Executive Management experience, working with some Large corporate and international business, including Chevron, Bank South Pacific and ANZ (PNG). He has a strong understanding of the financial market having spent 13 years working with both Bank South Pacific and ANZ where he held senior Commercial and Lending Management roles. Richard's last position with the banking industry was as the Head of Retail Banking for Pacific North West ANZ (PNG), which oversees the whole retail branch network. Prior to his appointment as the Acting Managing Director/CEO, Richard spent the last four years heading the Commercial arm of NAC as its General Manager Commercial. Richard brings with him strong financial, commercial and strategic skills to the team.
General Manager - Finance and Business Strategy
Jacob brings over 12 years of experience to NAC, with previous positions held in Board, Financial and Project Director roles, with a specialty in Accounting (Audit and Taxation) and Project Management. Such experience is combined with a strong work ethic, excellent communication, leadership skills and well-crafted business acumen. Jacob directed the now completed Jackson International Terminal expansion before being appointed General Manager of Finance and Business Strategy.
General Manager - Commercial
Wayne Manoka has vast experience in land management and commercial developments over 15yrs in the aviation Industry. His previous employment was with Kinhill Kramer Ltd from 1990 to 1996. Joined CAA now NAC in 1997 in Airport Design and Planning of commercial development land bank. He is now the General Manager for Commercial Developments in Land and Properties, Retail and Advertising, and all new commercial development Projects for all 22 National Airports
General Manager - Engineering
Gebo has over 19 years experience in the Aviation Industry. He started his career in 1997 with the former CAA, now NAC, after graduating from an Engineering Degree. He has vast experience in airport projects from planning, maintenance, upgrade, design and implementation. He has also been involved with multilateral donor funded projects and working with key agencies to deliver projects such as APEC and JT2030. Prior to been appointed as the General Manager Engineering, Gebo was the Senior Manager Engineering overseeing Engineering Related Projects of the 22 Airports across PNG.
Program Director - CADIP
Manuai Kametan is the Program Director for the Civil Aviation Development Investment Program (CADIP), a US$565 million (K1.7 billion) airports and airways infrastructure program funded by the Independent State of Papua New Guinea and supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Manuai holds an Engineering Degree (Civil) and has held numerous senior management and engineering positions prior to his assignment to NAC.
General Manager - Port Moresby (Jackson) International Airport (PMIA)
Vilimoni is not new to the role of managing airports, bringing 23 years of aviation experiences to NAC. After an expansive role at Fiji Airports Limited lasting 14 years, overseeing safety, security and airport management, Villimoni then spent 3 years at the Nation Capacity Building in Mogadishu, Somalia in upgrading all the Security Systems at Mogadishu International Airport. In 2013, Villimoni joined SOMAIR in Somalia as a Security Consultant negotiating in purchasing Fokker 70 aircrafts before joining Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF) in 1994. Villimoni was a member of the UN Peacekeeping Forces in Lebanon with the Fiji Military Forces for three consecutive years. Villimoni holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with the University of the South Pacific (Fiji). Prior to being appointed to General Manager Port Moresby (Jackson) International Airport (PMIA), Vilimoni was also the Senior Safety and Security Manager overseeing the safety and security for Port Moresby (Jackson) International Airport.
Acting General Manager – Regional Airports
Mark Sahin has over 35 years of experience in the Aviation Industry in Papua New Guinea. He started his career in 1981 with former Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), as an Apprentice Diesel Fitter. In 2003 he graduated University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and continued working with Civil Aviation Authority CAA, and now National Airports Corporation (NAC). Apart from his specialist field of Engineering, he has over 6 years of experience in Airport Operation. Prior to being appointed as acting General Manager for Regional Airports early this year; he was Airport Operations Manager for Nadzab Airport and Tokua Airport and also looked after other four (4) regional airports.
General Manager – Human Resources
Mr. Mulai Ninihili-Vui, the Senior Human Resources joined National Airports Corporation in April 2017. Mr. Ninihili-Vui has well over 17 years of professional experience in banking, manufacturing, mining, construction and sea ports industry performing managerial role in Human Resources Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, Fleet and Properties, Information Communication and Technology, and Security Management, Some of the notable and reputable organisations that Mr. Ninihili-Vui had stint with are; Bank of South Pacific, Porgera Joint Venture, PNG Ports Corporation, and Kumul Minerals Holdings prior to joining National Airports Corporation. Over the course of last 9 years, he has been part of executive and senior management team involved in strategic thinking, planning and management, budgeting, and strong experience in change management, HR Policy developments, organizational restructures and process re-engineering, employee redundancies, union negotiations and agreements.. He is passionate in leading people at different levels of management. Clearly understanding the nature of business and providing appropriate level of support is the basis of his career success. Mr. Ninihili-Vui will be graduating in 2017 with Masters in Human Resources Management, in addition to a Bachelors in Education, a Diploma in Human Resources Management, and a Diploma in Management. Mr. Ninihili-Vui is a Certified Professional Member of Australian Human Resources Institute and a Member of the PNG Human Resources Institute.
